The company name resume its business idea main goal:
Akcelware, it´s the composition of Akceli, ‘to accelerate’ in esperanto, and ware.
The recent apogee in the development of programable logic devices kind FPGA and its corresponding synthesis tools
allows to obtain in some applications with a unique embedded system the same performance as most tens (even hundreds)
of personal computers working paralelly.
Akcelware is dedicated to digital electronic design using hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog…) on
programmable logic devices (CPLDs and FPGAs).
Furthermore, it´s the GIDEL distributor in Spain.
RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION (R+D+i)
In industry, migration to new technologies takes place slowly. One of the main causes is the slowness with which know how
generated in research centers flows to enterprises.
Akcelware borns as spin-off of the Microelectronic Design and Applications Group (GDMA) belonging to the Electronic
Technology Department of Madrid Carlos III University (UC3M) with the idea to obtain an optimal synergy between
this center and the electronic design industry. By this way, within the framework of the new legislation for
university born companies, one of the Akcelware leading points is the continuous collaboration with the UC3M.
New Logic Analyzer Interface for GiDEL FPGA Boards
The GiDEL line of PROC Boards provides a high capacity, high-speed FPGA-based
platform equipped with high throughput and massive memory resulting in a powerful and
highly flexible system. The PROC boards are designed to support GiDEL daughterboards
(PSDBs) enabling to connect external IO lines, to add unique features, and to expand the
FPGA’s connectivity.
The GiDEL PSDB_LA daughterboard provides a convenient interface between GiDEL boards and an external logic analyzer via Mictor and standard header connectors.
